ALHS, pronounced ‘Amo’, is a student of English and History (don’t make her pick one, she will not choose!) and a writer of incoherent dream sequences, if incoherent dream sequences always ended up on the theme of decolonisation. She has severe hubris, but it is only Shakespeare-interpretation related. She was raised on an overdose of Indian mythology and hence sets very high bars for her own stories that her five foot nothing self can promptly walk under. When she grows up, she wants to be Anne Carson.
Navya Hebbar has to her credit one BA in Journalism, one pending MA in International Relations and one novel which has been in progress for two years. She sends pictures of her paintings only to her good friends and cooks when she is sad. She wishes she was a good singer and she wishes for great tragedies to write about but is secretly content with smutty fanfiction any day of the week. When she’s not writing, she’s actively pursuing frustration through rejected applications as a life activity.
